Biblio Notes
John McDonald was born and raised in the fishing village of Cortez. He entered the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and stayed for a career. John returned to Cortez almost 20 years ago. Currently he is a Board Member of the Cortez Village Historical Society. He is also a volunteer at the Cortez Cultural Center and the Florida Maritime Museum.
